What To Take On A Beach Holiday This Year
Beach holidays are destination number one, so be sure you have everything you need at a glance. The best way to pack for your departure is to use a checklist and be sure all your essentials are in your cases. Depending on whether your fabulous beach holiday is a domestic trip or an overseas flight, what you pack can make or break your holiday smiles. Women's clothing may be abundant in her closet; however, less is best when it comes to the beach.

Traveling light is the way to go whilst having everything you need at your fingertips. Necessary beach wear includes at least two swim suits, a sun hat and a lightweight cover-up in case your skin gets cooked. Sun block is essential to allow you more fun in the sun, so be sure to pack a high UV blocker that you know and trust. Some sun screens may trigger a rash or itch, so go with what you know and stick to your usual brand.

Footwear for a beach holiday is a snap to pack. You will need a comfortable beach shoe such as a rubber soled sandal or broken-in trainers that can be worn without socks. Some beaches have jagged coral under the shallow surf, so be sure your footwear is sturdy enough to tread through the water without cutting the bottom of your feet. Flip-flop sandals may be ideal for the soft sand; however they offer little protection to the toes when wading through a jagged coastline.

Remember your holiday with all your media packed and ready to go. Cell phones, video cameras and film if needed should be kept together for easy access on the trip.

Some of the best moments on a beach holiday happen away from the crashing surf, so be sure to pack a cover-up for seaside dining, pubs and local city tours. A full or half-length sarong is easy to wrap and a snap to pack. Your beach cover-up will be used every day, so you may wish to take a few of them and colour coordinate to your swim wear. Women's clothing should be fun, flirty and fabulous, so take your time and find the best beach cover-ups to flatter your figure.

Finally, if you plan to travel locally and are able to drive to your beachfront destination, load up the car with all the creature comforts you can. Pack an ice chest, plenty of thirsty beach towels, your favourite water sports toys, collapsible beach chairs and a large blanket. Beach sleepers will do well to take a battery operated alarm clock to alert them before a medium-rare tan turns to well-done. Take charge of the rays and pack a large umbrella to keep the sun at bay and don't forget to bring a few books, magazines and crossword puzzles to idle the day away.
